Yesterday I finished the preparation work for the “project list” page of my Next.js app. Today I’ll use react-query to fetch the projects from an API and render them into the UI using the component I built yesterday.

My plan is to continue these livestreams on an (almost) daily basis until the app is done. The usual time is around 9 or 9:30 am CEST. The next livestream will probably be on Tuesday or Wednesday next week due to Easter holiday.

This app will be part of my upcoming React Job Simulator where you'll be able to continue working on this app as if it was your first job as a React dev. You can find a waitlist here: https://profy.dev/waitlist

About me: I’m a dev with ~10 years of professional experience and I've worked with React for more than 5 years iirc. I'm building an application as I would in a real team based on tasks and designs. The app has desktop and mobile designs. It will be covered with tests and documented with Storybook. I also use a professional Git workflow called Trunk-Based Development.
