To install AlmaLinux virtual machine, you will require VirtualBox installed.
I also include in this video, the common issue encountered when installing a RHEL 9 based distro.
AlmaLinux from CloudLinux is the open-source replacement for the CentOS 8 which RedHat discontinued in favor of CentOS Stream.
AlmaLinux 9 was released on May 26, 2022. Codenamed Emerald Puma, AlmaLinux 9 provides an array of new features and enhancements to improve user experience and functionality.
We will cover the step-by-step process of downloading, installing, and setting up the latest AlmaLinux operating system using VirtualBox 7 running on your Windows 10 computer.
This is a very beginner’s guide, so it will be useful for a lot of new starters who want to try AlmaLinux for the first time, and once you get familiar with AlmaLinux, you can follow the same steps to install it on physical hardware.
