NEW UPDATE!! Chasca, Mavuika, Madame Ping, Capitano & Columbina RELEASE DATES - Genshin Impact
Some characters originally planned for early Natlan patches have been delayed, while others will be released sooner than expected. We’ve received updated information on the release dates for most of the Natlan characters. In this video, we’ll review the upcoming new characters and discuss the two Fatui members who will appear in Natlan.
starting with Version 5.2, we have Ororon, a rumored 4-star Bow user who has ties to Il Capitano. He was spotted beside the Fatui Harbinger in the Natlan character teaser, suggesting he might be either an ally or a rival. We’ll also see Chasca, a 5-star Cryo Bow user, in Version 5.2. Chasca seems to have a connection to another character or a key plot point based on her teaser. Beyond this, not much has been revealed about her, other than that she has a stylish hat.
In Version 5.3, we’re likely to meet Mauvika, the current Pyro Archon in Genshin Impact. As expected, she’ll be a Pyro character wielding a claymore, as shown in the teaser. Known as the God of War, she’s considered one of the strongest Archons in Teyvat. Unlike Nahida and Furina, the previous Archons, Mauvika is rumored to become a playable character in Version 5.3. This suggests that the Natlan storyline could be longer than previous regions or stretched out over an additional patch.
Version 5.3 might also introduce Citlali, a 4-star Cryo Catalyst character. She first appeared in the Ignition Teaser, sitting in a room and startled by a ball thrown by Kinich. Citlali has long pink hair, blue eyes, and purple markings on her face and body. We don’t have much information about her abilities, but we do know her weapon and vision. It’s important to take Citlali’s details with a grain of salt since nothing has been confirmed by reliable sources.
Version 5.4 will introduce Madame Ping. According to information obtained by the leakers Full Stop Chan and HXG, which was then shared to a post tagged as “Questionable” on Reddit, Madame Ping may finally become playable in next year’s Lantern Rite. Based on the game’s regular schedule, it is likely the event will occur in Version 5.4 at some point in early 2025. The leak also mentions that the playable version of Madame Ping will use a polearm in battles, which is expected to be good for Xiao due to its rumored 88% CRIT Damage sub-stat.
Il Capitano, or The Captain, is one of the Fatui Harbingers and is thought to be the strongest, ranked first among them. We still don’t know if Capitano will be released during the Natlan patches, as there’s uncertainty among leakers. Capitano is said to be a very righteous person, even mocked by the Wanderer for it. Both Childe and Wanderer mention him as one of the strongest Fatui Harbingers. The Captain is set to appear in Natlan and likely plays a significant role in the story. A leak from White on Reddit suggests that Capitano is not originally from Teyvat but from another planet. If true, this would make him even more crucial to the overall narrative, especially in connection to the Traveler, who is also not a native of Teyvat. Currently, there are no leaks about Capitano’s abilities, but his weapon is expected to be a sword, as hinted in the Genshin Impact 5.0. Earlier, he was thought to be a Claymore user, but recent leaks from MeroMero, considered reliable on Reddit, also indicate that Capitano might be a Sword user. His vision is believed to be Cryo, as he’s seen creating an ice sword to battle Mauvika in the trailer. However, this is just speculation based on the trailer, which could simply be special effects.
Columbina, also known as Damselette, is the Third of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers and is expected to debut as a Cryo 5-star character we still don't know her release date. A new leak from a source named White hinted that she’ll appear in the main story of Version 5.1. The leak didn’t specify what role Columbina will play in the story, but it did hint at her much-anticipated appearance. Previous leaks suggest that Columbina will be a Cryo character and likely fill a DPS role in team setups.
