3 Days in the Wilderness: Bushcraft Tarp Shelter, Bow Saw Making and Mushroom Feast, Rain Camp
The magical winds of autumn have finally started to blow the yellow leaves. I am eagerly waiting for winter; although each season has its own beauty, the fairytale atmosphere that winter offers gives me an indescribable excitement.
Recently, I camped in a forest where silence meets peace, among the spruce trees rising into the sky. I had the pleasure of discovering the treasures that nature has to offer while collecting delicious mushrooms that are well-known in the region, deep in the forest.
The peaceful evening that came with the rainfall brought me not only the sound of nature, but also an inner calmness. I prefer to camp with little equipment; I feel like too much weight prevents me from experiencing the simple beauty of nature.
Waking up to the warm rays of the sun after a rainy night was an indescribable happiness. In nature, an axe and a knife are usually enough; however, sometimes a saw may be needed. I made myself a cute bow saw and set out to explore the forest. I heard the whisper of new mushrooms (maybe there were some I had missed before!).
I cooked some of the mushrooms I collected in a small pan and tasted them; the flavor was so impressive that I prepared a great mushroom feast in a large pan. But I was careful; I never touched mushrooms that I was not sure if they were edible. Let's not forget that every mushroom is edible, but some are only eaten once!
I can't wait to live and share these unique experiences that nature has to offer.
I have a question:
Is it better to pick mushrooms by cutting them or by picking them?
