Gov. Shapiro highlights investments in education, signs ceremonial bill
Governor Josh Shapiro joined local leaders, teachers, and students Tuesday morning at Central Dauphin Middle School to highlight investments in public education in his 2024-2025 budget.
The budget includes what the Shapiro administration said is a "historic" $1.1 billion for grades kindergarten through twelve. It's the largest year-over-year increase in Commonwealth history.
