▶️In this video , I’m going to explore some interesting, some funny and some ridiculous commands that you can type into the terminal on Linux and have fun!
You’ll find a lot of these commands ridiculous or useless but some of them could actually be put to some good use.
I have added installation instructions for Ubuntu/Debian/Mint.
If you are using Arch, Fedora, SUSE, Solus or any other non-Ubuntu distributions, please use your distribution’s package manager to install these funny Linux commands.

cmatrix h :- to get information about cmatrix ...
➡️ aafire [ to start a fire in your linux teminal]
sudo apt install libaa-bin
affire :-- to start a fire like effect
➡️ fortune [to get some weird fortunes..]
sudo apt install fortune
fortune :-- weird saying or fortunes
➡️ oneko [cat or dogs in your terminal]
sudo apt install oneko
oneko :-- for a cat
oneko dog :- for a dog
➡️ xeyes [pair of eyes in your teminal]
sudo apt install x11-apps
xeyes :-- get eyes in your terminal
➡️ espeak [text to speech]
sudo apt install espeak
espeak "your text" :-- will convert your text to speech.
➡️ toilet [to get a ASCII banner]
sudo apt install toilet
toilet your text :-- will create a banner of your text
➡️ cowsay [create a ASCII cow]
sudo apt install cowsay
cowsay "your text" :-- will create a ASCII cow
➡️ xcowsay
sudo apt install xcowsay
xcowsay "your text" :-- will create a animated cow ..
➡️ rig [to get a random address or a new identification]
sudo apt install rig
rig :-- to a random address
➡️ yes [to loop the followed text or to give Y consent to the commands]
you don't need to downlaod or install this command . it comes pre- installed.
yes this is :-- will loop printing 'this is' to stop press [ctrl+c]
yes | sudo apt upgrade :-- will give a Y consent to the command.
