This short MariaDB tutorial will show you how to check the version of MariaDB server you have installed. We are running MariaDB on CentOS 7 but the process should be much the same for other operating systems.

This Tutorial will show you how to check MariaDB server version command line.

First you will see how to log into MariaDB on the command line.

Next you will see where the version information is available.

Finally you will run the CHECK VERSION(); command to see how you can check the MariaDB version from the command line.
