Free Network Monitoring tool. Today we will install Free SNMP simple network monitoring tool on our ubuntu. Then we will add devices in SNMP tool. Observium is an open source free tool to monitor our Network Health.
what is network network health? service, hardware, activity that we want to keep an eye on it.CPU, Memory utilization on servers, bandwidth monitoring and hardware health. Monitoring individual system processes, customize alerts, error alerts, for this we use SNMP (simple network management protocol).
Monitoring logs and activity. As a system administrator we will check and resolve issue using observium.
1. Install VMware workstation Pro

2. Download Ubuntu Server
https://releases.ubuntu.com/focal/
3. Install Ubuntu Server on Vmware Machine
Set Static IP
Install SSH Server
4. Install Observium

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo wget http://www.observium.org/observium_in...
sudo chmod +x observium_installscript.sh
sudo ./observium_installscript.sh
