How to Upload 4K Videos to YouTube
Step 1 --- After signing your YouTube account, click “Upload video”, it will pop up the new upload videos tab. Click “Select files” here to choose the 4K video.
Step 2 --- Add video details while the video is uploading: title, description, audience, choose a thumbnail or upload a custom one and add video to playlist if you need. Click on "More Options", you can add tags, captions, categories and more.
Step 3 --- Click "Next", set the ads display info if your channel is monetized. In the Video elements tab, adjust the End Screen and Add Cards if a SD version of the video is 100% processed.

Step 5 --- Let's wait YouTube to process a 4K version successfully. Click “view on YouTube” to check if there’s a 4K quality options in the video. Once there is, change the visibility to “Public”, so audience will see the 4K quality directly.
