Glowing Social Media Icon Effect In Photoshop - Photo Manipulation Tutorial
Walkthrough the step by step process of how to make a glowing social media icon in Photoshop. By using the basic workflow shared in this tutorial, you can add a glowing notification effect to any photo with ease.
The first process uses a series of layer blending modes and gaussian blurs to turn a plain vector image into a glowing social media icon!
To help blend in the glow to your photo, I then share how to create and manipulate the light in your photo to match with the glow. With the help of the hue saturation adjustment layer, the brush tool, and an exposure adjustment, you end up with a realistic lighting effect in no time.
To wrap things up, we add some general exposure and color adjustments to help the photo feel more night time-like and aesthetic. Now it's ready to share!
