How to Make Your First WordPress Widget
This video demonstrates how to use code from the WordPress codex page in order to design your own widget. Reasons you might want to do this include:
• Your mortgage-selling client wants a little simple calculator widget in their sidebar
• You want to show a subset of content in a customized way
• Because learning is valuable even when it doesn’t have concrete purpose immediately!
