It is critically important for a modern database to scale predictably and perform seamlessly at any scale. To be able to properly assess it, you need benchmarks that are representative of your use cases, deterministic, and easy to operate. In this session, Filipe and Or present several benchmark tools that you can use to understand how Redis (and other databases) performs in an independent, stable, and easily reproducible manner.
They also share some advice on key metrics to monitor, how to ensure that the benchmark client you're using is not the bottleneck, and how to assess that the underlying system you're using is stable.
