How to reduce the size (in megabytes) of a VHD file.
VHD is a virtual hard-disk.
You can install Windows 7 or later into a virtual hard-disk instead on a partition.

WINDOWS 7 or later only !!
1. Run CMD as Administrator
2. diskpart
3. select vdisk file="C:\filename.vhd"
4. attach vdisk readonly
5. compact vdisk
6. detach vdisk
