Jackie Welles is an ex-Valentino member who left after only a few years going, due to his mother finding out. Jackie always wanted to be his own master and eventually settled as a mercenary. He's professional and has great respect for the mercenaries that came before. He values friendship, loyalty, and family above all else. Eventually he plans to provide for his own family and live in luxury, but he's getting impatient because this is still just an elusive dream.[1]
Jackie helps V as he teaches them the ropes and how to make it big in Night City, he's the first companion that appears in each of the three prologues.
