Greetings, in this Baldur's Gate 3 tutorial we shall be looking at how we can kidnap NPCs in Baldur's Gate 3. By kidnap NPCs in Baldur's Gate 3, I mean we will cover how to pickup an NPC and move them to another location and prevent them from moving back to their original location.
This tutorial on how to perform the kidnapping trick in Baldur's Gate 3 is great for performing glitches or moving NPCs away from witnesses so you can easily pickpocket them or cheese boss fights.
The glitch requires you to use an NPCs as an improvised weapon and while your player is carrying the NPC, use the fast travel feature to teleport while carrying the NPC. If you go to a waypoint that is far enough away from where the NPC usually is, they won't walk back as they can't pathfind.
This bug will not anger the NPC. This may annoy other NPCs. Doing this with Isobel will trigger the fall of the Last Night Inn.
To pickup an NPC, you need to have a strength of at least 20, so drinking a potion may be required.
