Akai APC64 - Not bad at all!
Akai just dropped this one - the APC 64.
This is a midi controller, dedicated to control Ableton Live. It's not a 1 to 1 comparison to Ableton own Push 3 unit but I can see a lot of people really loving the idea of this... The price makes this one accessible to more people and if all you really want is a new way to control Live - this unit is definitely a solid option.
I'm getting more comfortable in Live myself and some of the workflows here are really great. Happy to get the opportunity to tell you guys about this one.
And before you ask: No, this one will not replace any of my current devices or become my main instrument. This is a loan unit I got to test out and share my impressions with the world :)
