Lecture 23: Magnetic Mirroring
This lecture discusses an important topic of plasma confinement in the magnetic field. The first adiabatic invariant states that the magnetic moment is always conserved regardless of the magnetic field strength. The parallel and perpendicular components of velocity adapt to keep the magnetic moment constant.
