Which is the best bank hub account for doing bank bonuses? I look at several high yield savings accounts, checking accounts and brokerage account to find the ultimate hub account for doing bank bonuses.
I look at Fidelity brokerage account, Schwab, CIT bank, Ally high yield savings and many other banks.
I look primarily at high daily transfer limits both high dollar transfer limits and high transfer limits or no limits per month. While many banks have a 6 item monthly external transfer limit, bank hub accounts have high transfer limits or no limit whatsoever.
Also I look at fast transfer speeds. Who wants to wait three or four days to do an ACH transfer when same day ACH transfers exist by some companies such as Fidelity (unofficially) or Alliant.
Having the ability to add lots of external bank accounts is also a necessity for a bank hub account. Having the ability to add dozens of bank accounts makes it much easier.
Also, the finacial institution must be willing to do large number of transfers to new bank accounts without any hold period or questions. Who wants to have to wait to send an ACH after signing up to a new bank account or have the transfer halted for "security reasons".
