Root Foundation Rwanda - Documentary Video
Root Foundation Rwanda is a local NGO in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. With thousands of children on the streets it is necessary to help the next generation of Rwanda. The children don't go to school and have no chances to escape their fate in which they were burn. Many parents don't care about them that's why they have no one who they can trust. The biggest problem which the children have is the lack of character development, lack of social skills and the ability to express themselves. Their personal development is affected by the behavior which they see on the street. They confronted with values like disrespect, dishonesty and the constant struggle for survival. In a young age they learn how to bug and how to steel. Even voilence is a constant part of their lives. This is a big danger for their developments and for the socity of Rwanda.
Every child should have the right to grow up in a safe place.
We all have this responsibility.
Our vision is to create a world where all vulnerable children fulfil their potentials and grow up to become valuable community members.
Investing in children's lives is investing in our worlds prosperous future. Children´s and parent´s personal development and education is expected to positively change social as well as economic structures. Rwanda and its ambitious VISION plan for 2020 will only be reached by devoting its resources and capabilities into Rwanda´s principles asset: its people.
