My fix for: GPU memory is Full DaVinci Resolve 16
Update: With the new Resolve updates I am not sure if this video is helpful anymore. However somehow people keep replying that it helped.
Today I have been encountering DaVinci Resolve 16 GPU memory is full errors. In the past few days I noticed Resolve has been acting up and in some cases using up most of my CPU power while doing essentially nothing. Rebooting PC resolved this.
Here I am trying to render a tiny transition of text, and getting this same error with a Quadro k3100m 4GB.
I remembered that my Dell monitor is 1920x1280, and the laptop screen is 1920x1080. Simply dragging resolve back to my laptop screen allowed resolve to work and render without issue. It seems to me like Davinci Resolve does not like the 1920x1280 display for what ever reason.
