Welcome to Whitechapel: last bastion of humanity. Six years ago, the world “ended” in a single, apocalyptic event, trapping Great Britain behind a mysterious dome of purple energy. London’s last neighborhood has persevered thanks to the protection of the FreakAngels — a small group of psychically-powered twenty-three-year-olds. Their fragile peace becomes threatened, however, when an exiled friend returns, exposing past conspiracies and new conflicts within their fractured, makeshift family. Can Whitechapel survive?

They’ve worked with Disney Animation as well as exciting new filmmakers Barry Jenkins, Amy Seimetz, Lake Bell and Adele Romanski. Their score and songs have created buzz in Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Spin and NME among other publications. Mondo Boys’ quick rise to prominence in the film community can be attributed in part to their passion for story, their close collaborations with filmmakers and their ability to write lyric-and-vocal songs as well as memorable score to fit any film. Mondo Boys unique ability to blend catchy melodies into classic orchestral as well as cutting edge modern score has led to their collaborations with legendary filmmakers such Ridley Scott (PHOENIX FORGOTTEN) and Steven Soderbergh (THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE Season 2) in addition to highly buzzed about and acclaimed filmmakers such as Amy Seimetz, Barry Jenkins, D.J. Caruso, Lake Bell and The Nelms Brothers. Their score and songs have created buzz in Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Spin and NME among other publications. Mondo Boys score for SHE DIES TOMORROW was named by several outlets as one of the best scores of 2020, they also grabbed a lot of attention for their score to FATMAN starring Mel Gibson as Santa Claus and are currently scoring an Anime series for Crunchyroll called FREAK ANGELS. Recent credits include scoring the upcoming Netflix whodunit, THE INHERITANCE directed by Alejandro Brugués, as well as D.J. Caruso’s latest film, SHUT IN.
