Android Studio Tutorial (2021 Edition) - Part 3
In the latest version of Android changes were made as to how exactly elements from our XML layout are used in Kotlin. View Binding is one approach to access, modify and interact with our layout, what the user sees.
In this Android Studio tutorial let's setup a version of view binding. First we'll add a few lines to our build.gradle file, then setup a new variable at the top of MainActivity, allowing us to access XML widgets.
