Niagara N4.1 2021 Date Issue Scenarios and Solutions – Lynxspring TechTips
Beginning in 2021, platform connections to Niagara controllers may in some cases fail due to an issue with software code and files used for recovery of factory defaults and files used for Niagara N4 to Niagara AX conversion, or in some updated licensing scenarios.
In this video, we sift through the technical bulletin to discuss three scenarios listed in regards to the Niagara N4.1 date issue and demonstrate their solutions as well as the licensing scenario.
The three scenarios and solutions we will be demonstrating:
1. The clean distribution (A.K.A. the clean disk file) is installed on the controller.
2. The factory recovery process is initiated by way of the reset button on a PC8000.
3. The controller was converted from Niagara N4 to Niagara AX via the conversion file on ProBuilder.
