With a regular and reliable form of transportation now available, the Peak quickly became renowned for its spectacular views of the city and the harbor. Today, the Peak attracts some seven million visitors a year, making it one of Hong Kong's top tourist destinations.
Victoria Peak, known simply as The Peak, is a must-see Hong Kong destination, offering iconic views of skyscraper-flanked Victoria Harbour, Kowloon peninsula and craggy mountain peaks.
Perching on The Peak at 396 meters above sea level, The Peak Tower is one of the most stylish architectural icons in Hong Kong. Inside The Peak Tower, there is a dazzling array of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues set against the beautiful backdrop of the city.
One of the most popular ways to get to Victoria Peak, other than the Peak Tram, is via CityBus Bus route 15. If you choose to use Bus 15 to go to The Peak it will take at least 40 minutes, possibly an hour if there are road works or traffic jams, so it is quite a slow way to go. On the other hand, it is an interesting route with lots to see and of course it is extremely cheap, just HK$10 per person.
Whether you're in Hong Kong for a day or longer, a visit to Victoria Peak, or The Peak as it's known by locals, is an absolute must. You'll see some of the best views of the city below, across Victoria Harbour, and over to Kowloon. Multiple viewing areas are available, including the Sky Terrace.

The Star Ferry is a passenger ferry service operator and tourist attraction in Hong Kong. Its principal routes carry passengers across Victoria Harbour, between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.
