DCS World: The Gambler Campaign
The Gamblers campaign was developed by @balticdragon3611 to capture the 77th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron's, The Gamblers, deployment at the beginning of Operation Inherent Resolve. The missions are based on sorties that we flew during that six-month deployment, plus a few extras that were outside our timeframe but significant in the OIR campaign. Should be a cool experience and a different way to capture a piece of history.
Throughout the 13 missions of the campaign, you will have an opportunity to relive some of the sorties that we flew during our deployment to Iraq and Syria as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. Furthermore, the campaign recreates the most iconic moments of the Allied involvement within the theater, including the Battle of Raqqa in 2017, the US TLAM strike against the Shayrat Airbase in retaliation for the regime’s chemical attack on Aleppo and the standoff between US forces and the notorious Russian Wagner group, which is now known as the “Battle of Khasham”.
This campaign also introduces a new, more immersive way for the player to interact with the environment using their HOTAS, this practically completely eliminates the use of space bar or F-10 menu.
The campaign also includes features that account for the player’s performance and possible errors. This means that his wingmen or other assets in the mission can take over tasks the player is struggling with, which can lead to multiple ways in which each mission can progress. All of these scenarios were meticulously checked and tested to avoid possible bugs and problems and ensure an enjoyable player experience.

An interactive intro mission, voiced by John ‘Rain’ Waters, guiding the player through the most important aspects of the campaign;
Over 3000 lines of dialogue with voice-overs;
Custom ATC interaction for all the missions;
Optional use of air to air refueling or the choice to skip it all together;
Detailed documentation, flight plans, maps, target information available in both PDF format and from within each mission as part of the kneeboard;
Detailed skins for the Gamblers created by Thomas 'Roughmaster' Vercauteren
