It's Thursday, so here's the next installment of the #stayhomephotos project. Today's project - Front Door Photos!

INTRODUCTION
This project is about looking at your close environment in a new way - as a photographer. Look for shapes, textures, light, shadows, color, patterns, and details in the stuff you walk by every day.
PHOTO SUGGESTIONS
These photos don't have to LITERALLY be of your front door - but they can be. I just needed a three-word project name :)
One way to approach this project is to look for details. Look for texture, small elements that are part of a whole, that might make an interesting photo. Think abstract - light, shadow, colors and how they interesect. You don't need to photograph the entire subject - maybe just part of it will make an interesting photo.
Take more than one photo of each subject. Try getting closer. Try getting lower. Try a different angle or camera position.
REFLECTION
When you are done with the Front Door Photos, take a moment to think about: what specific objects did you take photos of and why? which photo(s) do you like best and why? what was the most surprising/unexpected photo subject?
FRONT DOOR PHOTOS
Looks for interesting photos within 20 feet of your front door. This can be inside or outside. Start by walking around the space and noticing potential photo subjects. Walk slowly - take about 5-10 minutes observing the area. Some questions to consider:
• What's the light doing?
• What are the first potential photo subjects you see?
• What's behind/above/below you?
When you're ready to take photos, spend 20 minutes (I know it seems like a looooong time, but it will be worth it) taking photos of subjects within 20 feet of your front door. If you think you can't find any more photos, try walking backwards, or squnting your eyes to see differently.
CHALLENGE GOAL
Try this project again at different time(s) of day and look for different light/shadows.
