Operation Battleaxe 1941 - Tank clash in North Africa
Hello and welcome to The AceDestroyer! This small documentary is about Operation Battleaxe. This operation was quickly set up by the British when they saw that the Germans were running low on resources. It was the baptism of fire for the new Crusader tanks and it eventually led to the replacement of Sir Wavell, who was sacked by Churchill. After operation Battleaxe, the British Western desert force was led by Claude Auchinleck.
