Unity: How to select the right UI element - Smart Ui Selection Plugin for the Unity Editor
Something for my fellow Unity game developers.
If you are using any UI in your game then you have probably encountered the problem that Unity does not often select the thing you expect it to select. Usually this ends up in a search in the hierarchy for the one right ui element. Well, no more. Smart UI is here for the rescue:

What you see is what you select. Ignore empty ui elements and enjoy a predictable selection order. UI elements in front will always be selected first.
