PDO Thread Lift and Revanesse Versa Filler: Combination Therapies with Dr. Kian Karimi
Learn how my signature combination therapies techniques of PDO Threads and hyaluronic acid fillers can lift, volumize and rejuvenate our patient’s appearance for refreshed and youthful appearance in a matter of minutes without having to 'go under the knife.’
I begin by strategically mapping out vectors where a series of biostimulatory NovaThreads will be placed along the mid-face, lower-third and neck. The collagen stimulating threads have 360 degree barbs that will capture the tissue and provide an immediate lifting effect. Over time as the thread dissolves, collagen production increases significantly in the treated area, often delaying the need for surgical intervention.
Once all NovaThreads have been placed, meticulous refinement is achieved with one of our favorite HA fillers, Revanesse Versa, using my microcannula injection technique. By replacing lost volume around the mouth corners and marionette lines, our patient’s lower face is softened to reduce the appearance of 'pre-jowls' that commonly occur as we age.
