Hey Stepmom. Stop Overreacting
As stepmoms we experience emotions we didn’t know were coming. It’s harder than we thought it would be. It’s tested us in ways we never expected.
Our life is controlled by a legal agreement we had no part in creating. Sometimes we feel good enough until we’re not and like we have no say in our life. When these curve balls come or life feels out of our control, sometimes, just sometimes we react in ways that don’t showcase our shiniest qualities.
Or at least I do?
Getting my emotional reactions under control was something I had to work on REALLY hard at the beginning. I’ve come a long way. Today I want to share with you three strategies that have helped.
