"You are not alone" | Ajax Unveils Operation White Heart Installation
On October 17, Ajax Council was joined by the community and special guest, Gary Brown, at Rotary Park to unveil the Operation White Heart installation.
Gary Brown started Operation White Heart in 2022, which was a result of a park built in 2021 in New Brunswick to help spread awareness on mental health and suicide.
📍Located at Rotary Park, 177 Lake Driveway West, Ajax, the Town is the first municipality outside of New Brunswick to have a white heart in a public space.
This white heart has become a symbol of unity to help raise awareness in the fight against the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide. It is a symbol of kindness and hope, reminding everyone that you matter and that it's ok not to be ok.
