Anne Arrives at Green Gables - Avonlea Village
Get on the buggy and visit the Avonlea village with Anne Shirley and Matthew Cuthbert. The village is inspired from the Anne of Green Gables TV show and the books. It includes lighthouses, the train station, the school, the church, stores, Cows Creamery, the Lake of Shining Waters, beaches, red cliffs, red roads and of course, the Green Gables house. It is made of pebbles and red sand from Prince Edward Island (PEI). It also includes a space museum as personal touch. Many characters are represented: Anne Shirley, Diana Barry, Matthew Cuthbert, Marilla Cuthbert, Gilbert Blithe, Rachel Lynde, Muriel Stacey and many more.
Anne of Green Gables was written by Lucy Maud Montgomery and first published in 1908. Anne Shirley, a red-hair young orphan girl who is mistakenly sent to Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, a middle-aged brother and sister who had intended to adopt a boy to help them on their farm, has been an inspiration for many generations by her great adventures and imagination. Anne of Green Gables is still one of my favorite books and TV shows. This is dedicated to all fans of Anne of Green Gables.
