Canada's Wonderland Winterfest 2023
This was our first time attending Winterfest at Canada's Wonderland, and we had so much fun. Canada's Wonderland is an amusement park, just north of Toronto. Winterfest takes place on select dates between November 17th and January 6th 2024. We were attending a Private Function and from 1-3pm we had advanced access. Since this was a private event, I think the cookie decorating was simplified, compared to the actual experience. Otherwise, the park is opened from 3-9pm. There are many photo opportunities. The park is decorated beautifully. There is ice skating, a variety of live performances, festive foods, a meet and greet with Santa, as well some of the rides are open. Surprisingly, there is also really great holiday decor shopping!! It did rain in the evening, but everything stayed open and the fun continued.
This was a great event, but it can add up. The parking cost $30, tickets are $30, lunch was $30 (but there may be cheaper alternatives), Cookie Decorating is around $30, pictures with Santa were around $15 (I think), and Funnel Cakes are $20.
