Merry Christmas, everyone! And Happy Holidays! Before going on a little break I present you with the game known as Grey Skies: a War of the Worlds Story. The WoW setting seems like a perfect setting for any game or narrative medium. Unfortunately the number of War of the Worlds games out there can be counted on one hand. And most are not that impressive. Now this game takes an interesting approach since it goes for a third person adventure game. It has elements of scavenging, exploration and stealth. Unfortunately it lacks a bit when it comes to the elements that are familiar from the War of the Worlds property. Most people will be disappointed when they find out how long it will take to get to their first encounter with the invaders or how much of the game actually has them in it. The game was created by only two developers and I think praise should be noted on what they did for such a small team, but I personally think they bit off more than they could chew and wanted to make something too ambitious. The end result is quite a messy product which fortunately is very cheap during sale and the perfect time to get it if you are interested.
