As most of you might know, using freeze panes in excel allows you to lock certain portions of your list on screen to make reading easier.

Freezing the top row, or first column is easy and straightforward, but freezing multiple rows and columns, or specific areas altogether, requires an additional bit of understanding how excel behaves when you use freeze panes.
