Visual LANSA is licensed per server, not per app or per user. The flat charge makes it easier to budget. There are also options for deploying applications to Azure, AWS, private cloud or on premise.
Can you explain again about how you reduce ongoing maintenance?
Visual LANSA has a central repository where all objects are stored and cross referenced. An object can be anything from a field displayed on a screen to a reusable piece of code. If that object is changed an impact lists can be generated listing everywhere that object is being used. You can then use that list to see what changes need to be made to your application.
