How to make a custom animation with Jitter
Custom animations are one of the most powerful features of Jitter: they let you create your own animations from scratch, and your own motion design system.
Jitter's animation preset already let you create some cool animations in just a few clicks, but the custom animations let you create even more cool animations, that suit your brand and your use case perfectly 😎 If you want to create web animations (cool website animation effects), animations for your social media content, for your videos, or for your apps, you can design them exactly the way you want with Jitter's custom animations.
For those of you who are already familiar with Webflow animations, Keynote animations, or PowerPoint animations, Jitter works in a similar way: you can animate your layers with simple instructions (like “Move”, “Rotate”, “Scale”…).
This is much more intuitive that the traditional keyframe animation method used by After Effects. This complexity is the reason why there are so many After Effects animation tutorials out there. Not even talking about After Effects text animations: they are pretty much impossible to do with keyframes, while they work out-of-the-box with Jitter's instructions.

Arc (to animate an ellipse, a donut, a pie chart)
Star (to animate the number of spikes, or the thickness of your stars)
