Baked Oats Brownie
Baked Oats Brownie. If you like Brownie and — more importantly — brownie batter, this recipe is for you.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Bake time: 40 minutes
Serves: 6
--------------------------------- RECIPE -----------------------------------
✨Ingredients✨
For the Baked Oats
1/2 cup (120 g) maple syrup
1/3 cup (80 g) peanut butter
1/4 tsp grounded vanilla OR 1 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt
2 cups (490 g) milk, any type
2 cups (180 g) rolled oats
1/4 cup (30 g) cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp grounded flax
1/3 cup (60 g) dark chocolate chips
For the Jelly strawberry sauce
1 cup diced strawberry
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
1 tsp lemon juice
Cook over medium heat until thick.
👩🍳Instructions:
🔥Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C)
✅Add maple syrup, peanut butter, vanilla, salt to a bowl mix until combined. Pour milk and stir again.
✅Then add dry ingredients (oats, flax, baking powder and cocoa powder). Mix well.
Then add chocolate chips, save 1-2 tbsp for the top. Mix. and let soak 15 minutes.
✅Pour into baking pan (8 x 8) and let soak 15 minutes. Then sprinkle a top with remaining chocolate chips.
🔥Bake for 40 minutes, until the center is set
✅ Allow to cool to desired temperature
✅Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and jelly strawberry jam
✅ Enjoy! Store in fridge and reheat when you want to eat!
❗️Measurements Note: All recipes have been developed using weight measurements. Although US volume measurements have been included for your convenience, it is highly encouraged that you weigh your ingredients using a kitchen scale to get the best possible results. Due to the sensitive nature of baking, kitchen scales are proven to yield more accurate and consistent results than measuring cups. Enjoy!
