In this week’s Fusion 360 training you learn how to move and copy the green object you see on the end of this bike handlebar grips, so you have one on each side.
You need to understand two things.
First, how far to move your body, secondly, how to perform the move and copy operation in Fusion 360 once you know how to figure out the right distance.
Let’s go back in time and complete the workflow.
Activate Fusion 360 Design Shortcuts with keyboard shortcut S. Type measure.
When you measure from endpoint to endpoint you get the distance 122 millimeters. This is the distance we are looking for in our move and copy operation.
Press Keyboard shortcut S and activate Fusion 360 Design shortcuts. Search for Move and confirm with enter.
Select the body you want to copy, check Create copy and type the measured distance. Confirm with enter and validate the accuracy of your Fusion 360 workflow.
