Body camera video paints 'clearer picture' of interaction with 8-year-old
For the first time, we are getting a different view of the viral video that shows officers putting an 8-year-old boy into the back of a Syracuse police car. Syracuse Police released body camera footage Thursday that they say paints a clearer picture of what happened before and after the camera started rolling.
Syracuse Police released two and a half hours of body camera footage and focused on five of the videos, saying they show the full context of their interaction with the child.
In the first video, one officer gets the child off of a bike and you see the man who captured the viral video arrive.
