How To Fill Text With A Picture Using Gimp *2024
This is a video tutorial on how to give text the background of an image in Gimp. I will be using a desktop PC for this tutorial.
Simple Steps
1. Open your project in Gimp.
2. Right click on the image layer and choose "Add Alpha Channel".
3. Select the "Text Tool" from the tools pane and type out some text.
4. Adjust the font style and size in the text panel.
5. Click on the "Move" tool to position the text on the image.
6 Right click on the text layer and choose "Alpha To Selection".
7. Click on the eyeball next to the text layer to hide the layer.
8. Right click on the image layer and choose "Add Layer Mask".
9. In the dialog box that opens toggle on "Selection" and click on "Add".
10. Click on the "Select" tab and choose "None".
