how to insert a pdf in word document this is what i am going to show you in this video so if you are interested then keep on watching you need to open the microsoft word open the file in which you want to insert the document place the cursor where you want to the pdf file to be inserted click the insert tab and within the insert tab you need to come towards this right side and click this icon which is for uh inserting the object or text from file so you need to click the object when this pop-up window will open you will see two tabs within this window create new and create from file you need to click the create from file and from here you would see that you can insert the pdf file as a link to file meaning by that once you will insert the pdf it will ah generate a link to source file or you can also display it as an icon so we will not right now touch upon this and we will just browse the pdf file which we want to insert select the source file from where it is placed select that file and click insert and here you can select whatever the option you want to select from here but i am going to skip those these two check boxes and i am just going to click ok and as you can see that my pdf file has been inserted in the word document along with its original name and the extension pdf dot pdf so if i do a double click on this it will open up the file in your adobe acrobat reader or if that is not available it will open up in a browser which is compatible to open the pdf so this is how you can insert the pdf file within the microsoft word document thank you for watching this video till the end if you like this video hit the like button share and subscribe
