Max Schöllhorn’s fatal crash 1984
During a race at Artigues-de-Lussac, a rider would fall in the direction of another rider, Max Schöllhorn, he would hit the other rider (which would receive minor injuries), then Max would fall off his bike and slam into the ground hard before slamming into the concrete barrier and having his bike ram into him as well, the impact would rip his helmet off, he then flew into the spectator area with serious injuries, he died shorty after the disaster.
