There are many hacks out there like using yarn to wick water into the soil or terracotta pots to slowly seep water into your soil. While these methods to water your plants, there are better methods that will more dependably water your plants. This way you can leave without wondering if the water will last until you return.
There are 3 things you can do to water your plants automatically while you’re on vacation:
Add a Watering Rock to your outdoor plants
Add a Vacation Watering Kit to your outdoor plants
Add a Timer to your drip irrigation system to program automatic watering schedules
