C++ Programming on Linux - Libcurl FTPS upload and Download Example
libcurl is a multiprotocol file transfer library. It supports multi protocols, In this short video its going to demonstrate one of very popular used file transfer protocol, FTPS, a protocol that utilizes a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate to provide secure FTP over SSL/TLS
FTPS (also known as FTP-SSL and FTP Secure) is an extension to the commonly used File Transfer Protocol (FTP) that adds support for the Transport Layer Security (TLS) and, formerly, the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL, which is now prohibited by RFC7568) cryptographic protocols.
In this video, it included how to install vsftpd, a FTP server for Debian Linux and enable SSL. Both C++ examples are also able to be performed through curl command line.
