Atlas Next-Gen Terrain Editor for Unity Hands-On Review
As requested from the 30 for $30 Unity Mega Bundle, today we are checking out Atlas Terrain, which bills itself as a next generation terrain editor for the Unity game engine.
Atlas Terrain enables you to use height maps as "stamps" basically treating them as prefab lego terrain blocks enabling you to quickly stamp out terrain. It also has spline based placement tools for roads, rivers, cliffs, etc as well as scattering tools for placing trees, rocks, etc.
