That's where a tool like the Teletronix LA-2A Compressor/Limiter comes in.
With its smooth compression, and simple interface, it's perfect for controlling your levels and bringing out the best in your tracks, especially on Vocals and Bass.
By using the LA-2A, you'll achieve a vocal track that, maintains a consistent level, is easier to understand, and is simpler to mix. In this Tutorial We will be using the UAD Native plugin version.
