Episode 38 we make a synthwave progressive house track from scratch using Logic Pro X, we setup the DAW at 125BPM at 96000KHZ and we premade a chord progression, and an arp.
We then begin this session by programing the percussions usine Logic Pro X Drum machine Designer. We quickly create a groove including snares, high hats, and toms. We then start working on the song elements by layering the MIDI and building the element in the mix.
We then Mikas signature arpeggiator at around 400Khz using Logic Pro X own Retro synth. We then process the sound with some equalization and work on the synth oscillators to create the perfect sound. We then move on to create a main lead using Logic Pro X Alchemy synthesizer. We are able to record a great melody in MIDI, we then work on the MIDI files to create the perfect lead for our song.
Moving on we use the key progression to add a rich mid bass element using a brassy patch.
We complete this episode by adding some stabs to push the track forward.
