It's been more than 1.5 years since I got a job as a system administrator, and this video is a story about what kind of job it is, what tasks a typical sysadmin faces, what you need to learn to become one, and whether it's worth it.
The key skills needed in the job are:
1. Ability to work with AD - Active Directory
2.Understanding of network routing, as an example study OSI layers, or take this course https://linkmeup.ru/blog/11.html.
3.Skill with DHCP, DNS, WSUS, Print server and WDS servers (More are possible).
4. Mega advanced PC user and googling guru (In particular, be able to google in English).
5. Ability to configure and work with network equipment from Cisco and Mikrotik.
A little separately from this list I can bring such items as stubbornness in achieving their goals and openness to work with colleagues. The solution to some problems sometimes has to search for weeks and of course, constantly seek advice from more experienced people.
There are most likely some mistakes in this video, and some topics were too short and not detailed. If you have something to add/correct this video or if you want to know the answer to a specific question I am waiting for you in the comments.
