LATE NIGHT BUMPER Sampler of Marc Karzen's Photographs
I've uploaded this Sampler to help promote Late Night Staff Photographer Marc Karzen's just-released book on his remarkably unique -- and award-winning -- bumpers collection. These photos were incorporated into every ad break on the show for ten years, beginning with the very first Late Night on February 1, 1982.
The photos here are prefaced with a clip from June 16, 1986: Dave is celebrating the Bumpers graphics team with its just-won Gold Award from the Broadcast Designers Association.
Marc's book is titled LATE NIGHT BUMPERS: THE 40th ANNIVERSARY EDITION, and it includes a forward by Dave. Its cover is included at the end of this video.
